Driven to gain financial stability, I embraced early challenges and seized opportunities, striving to set myself apart from the rest. Those foundational choices fueled my mission to help others achieve similar success and empowered me to pursue even greater goals supporting causes closest to my heart.
When I was just 14 years old, my father passed away—suddenly, everything changed for our family. With my mother doing her best to care for me and my two sisters, I had to step up and become the surrogate head of the family. We had my dad’s pension and money coming in from the VA for his time in the Army, but we still struggled to get by. This experience was incredibly influential to me, teaching me responsibility and resilience but also driving me to ensure financial stability and success for myself and my future family.
These early pressures also pushed me to strive for something greater. I worked full time after high school and began my college track at Penn State University settling on Landscape Architecture, my first love, and eventually moved to Philadelphia to start my first job out of college. Around that time, I scraped together whatever money I could to buy my first property—a two-unit investment near Penn State. So, while I was renting in Philadelphia, I started getting paychecks every month from the property management company I hired to run it. It was great to have a form of passive income as I focused on my career in sales.
Through sales, I was on a mission to set myself apart, to excel, and to be the guy people knew could get the job done. I quickly advanced through various sales positions and companies, working my way up to Director level positions like Director of alliance marketing and Acquisition Specialist. I thrived in these roles, building relationships and consistently performing in the Top 10 of every sales team I was part of. It was exciting to constantly travel and create multimillion-dollar contracts with software companies and financial institutions.
However, I always knew I was different and wanted something more. Throughout this time, I continued to grow my investment portfolio, starting small, but as I gained experience, I expanded my interests and continued to diversify, invest and grow my real estate portfolio. With time, my perspective on real estate shifted. Yes, it had provided me with passive income and the stability I had wanted, but I started to realize how my knowledge and understanding of construction, negotiation and the overall real estate transaction process could positively impact a lot of people.
In 2006, I obtained my real estate license and was ready to create something of my own within the real estate industry. During my early years in real estate, I faced significant challenges, particularly during the market crash of 2008. I adapted by becoming a short-sale specialist, helping clients navigate through financial difficulties and maintaining a steady flow of business. My ability to adapt and find opportunities in challenging times helped me build a successful career and a trusted name in the industry.
My clients know they can count on me, and I take that responsibility seriously. Every purchase and sale can dramatically impact someone’s life. It is more than a home; it is an investment that can provide financial stability and security that is life changing.
Looking back, I’m grateful I recognized the importance of investing and creating passive income early on. This, coupled with my real estate career, has given me the means to focus on what matters most. And for me, that is my daughter, Madeline, who is 16 years old. She is my ultimate reason why.
Madeline has Down Syndrome, which has given me a passion for not only supporting her, but the organizations that create opportunities for people with special needs, host events and foster a sense of community. I am currently involved with several Down Syndrome Support Groups, organizations that support Adults with Disabilities and my local Church. My faith has guided me on my journey and has led me to an even greater goal: one day, I plan to create a vacation homes for families with special needs children that would have the additional support needed to ensure families can enjoy a relaxing getaway, spending quality time together worry-free.
As a dedicated REALTOR®, I pride myself on offering a diverse range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients. While I work extensively with investors, my expertise spans various price points, from upscale properties to guiding first-time home buyers—I believe that versatility is crucial in today's dynamic real estate environment. My understanding of electrical work, plumbing, framing, roofing, exterior finishing systems, tile work, HVAC systems and appliances allows me to offer invaluable insights to my clients as well, helping prepare them for potential costs or issues down the road. For listings, I work with a professional stager and identify the cost-effective improvements that make the greatest impact on the final deal.
Having worked in the industry for over 18 years, I genuinely enjoy every aspect of my work. There's a special thrill in meeting new clients, learning about their goals and guiding them through one of the most stressful experiences of their lives—buying or selling a home. I love discussing your objectives, understanding your needs, and helping you achieve your real estate dreams. When you choose me as your real estate agent, I take it as an honor and privilege to guide you on this journey and ensure it is a total success!
